YOUTH PROGRAM
There is a special Youth Program during
the IFCO 2002 Conference that is mostly held at the same
place as the rest of the conference, namely Tampere Hall.
Youth will have plenary session in the mornings and during
the afternoon workshops. Youngsters can take part in the
main program, if so desired.
The main goal of the youth program is
to gather foster family youngsters together and give them
the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings. Young
ones will enjoy music, games, adventures, art and just being
together. This will also happen in multicultural groups,
where young adults may get to know each other and share
their thoughts with the help of group mentors.
Tampere has many good opportunities to
experience a unique adventure. There ’s going to be a warm
welcome in both discos and in sauna by the lake. Even he
most serious ones will have heir laughs at the Särkänniemi
amusement park. The evening on the island is a surprise for
everyone.
Small children will have their own
playroom or playground if needed during plenary sessions and
workshops. During evening programs they may be with their
parents.
