In Tampere
The organizers have reserved rooms at
the hotels mentioned in the List of
Hotels. To obtain the special conference rates, bookings
must be made on the special registration forms provided.
Please make your room reservation as early as possible. We
cannot guarantee rooms for late registrations.
All accommodation costs will be paid at
check-out directly to the hotel. All hotels require a credit
card number when making he hotel reservation. They will
debit you one night ’s accommodation if you have not
cancelled your reservation in advance.

Accommodation for youngsters
The organizers have reserved he YWCA
hostel especially for he young participants. It is
recommended that youngsters participating in the youth
programme, choose this hostel. Please make your booking by
using the registration form.
Prices are per person.
Hostel Tampere YWCA *
The YWCA Youth Hostel is located in the
center of Tampere, beside the Cathedral, about 500 metres
from the railway station and about one kilometer from the
bus station. The hostel has 24 rooms, altogether 70 beds.
Linen and towels are included, NOT BREAKFAST. Showers and
toilets are in the hall. No sauna. The hostel has one
TV-room and each floor has a little kitchen. Distance to
Tampere Hall: 1,2 km. Reception open daily from 8 am-10 am
and 4 pm-11pm only. Check-in time at 4pm, check-out at 10
am.
Price: EUR 33,50 /person/double room
EUR 26,50 /person/in a room for 3-5
persons
Home hospitality
Families living in Tampere and the
surrounding areas will offer a limited amount of home
hospitality accommodation to he conference participants.
Please indicate your interest in home hospitality
accommodation on the registration form by April 1, 2002.
Accommodation in Helsinki
Would you like to see the capital of
Finland while you are here? Tampere Conference Service can
book you a hotel in Helsinki. Please contact us by e-mail or
fax and indicate the price range or hotel category required
and also the date and time of arrival (if af er 6 pm). There
is a room reservation fee of EUR 12 per room.
